Wednesday, July 1st - Alexisonfire, Loading out at Edgefest
|
This is my last update for the day with some photos of Alexisonfire loading their van after Edgefest. Two days later Alexisonfire's new album Old Crows/Young Cardinals came out and they did a record signing in Toronto, and one in St Catherines, followed by a Myspace Secret Show, then they left for Warped Tour on Thursday.
I was also with Alexisonfire on the day of the record release and I will have many photos to post from that very soon as well so check back.

Wednesday, July 1st - AFI, Edgefest

While I was shooting Moneen on the side stage, I could hear AFI starting their set, so I ran through the mud to get to the main stage to make sure I could get some good shots of them.

Wednesday, July 1st - Moneen, Edgefest
|
Moneen ended up being the only band I saw play on the sidestage at Edgefest. I was planning on also going to see Cancer Bats but I ended up missing them by accident. I never really get to see Moneen play that much for some weird reason. They have a new album coming out soon and I have heard from many people that its going to be quite amazing. They also have a 12" EP coming out in the next few weeks so keep your eyes open for that.

Wednesday, July 1st - K-OS, Edgefest

Here are a few photos of K-OS from Edgefest. For some reason he had a rule that you could only take photos for the first 30 seconds of the first 3 songs, so the photo pit ended up being a bunch of photographers just standing there waiting till the next song started so they could keep shooting. The rule didnt surprise me though, since K-OS is a bit of an odd guy. I have met him a few times and he has always confused me. He is a great performer and song writer, just odd, thats all.
