.10:16am.. Gob This past Friday was a fairly exciting day for me. I did a photoshoot with Gob (myspace.com/gob) before their show here in Toronto. I have known about this shoot for a few weeks now and it was great for it to finally happen. If you grew up listening to Gob like I did then you may understand how this was a huge thing for me to do. Sunday, November 11th

.8:19pm.. The Dear & Departed Around mid September I posted a live photo of a band called (The Dear & Departed) from their show here in Toronto. What I never did post from that day was the group photo I did of the band after the show. The thing about this photo is it that wasnt at all planned since I was asked pretty last minute to come and shoot the actual show, and even more last minute to do this quick group shoot. I had no real time to prepare or set up any lighting for the photos. I took it with the flash mounted on the camera pointed straight forward. Usually I would not enjoy the results of straight on flash for something like this but somehow these guys pull it off. The Dear & Departed Add Comment (0)

Friday, November 9th

.6:07pm.. Alternative Press Issue #233 Hey check out this months Alternative Press with Say Anything on the cover. One of my photos of The Rocket Summer was used to go along with the feature on him. Im pretty excited since not only is this is the second issue of AP in a row that they used one of my photos full page, I also have a second photo of Armor For Sleep in it as well. Thursday, November 8th

.11:24pm.. The Weakerthans I mentioned yesterday that I was going to be shooting (The Weakerthans) show tonight which I did, and it was awsome. I think The Weakerthans are such an amazing band and I have been a huge fan for a long time. The Phoenix was packed solid by the time The Weakerthans went on and it was actually the second of two sold out shows in a row they played here in Toronto. The Weakerthans Add Comment (0)

Wednesday, November 7th

.6:34pm.. Sick City Just a few photos of (Sick City) from the show back in October at The Mod Club. I really like this band and their new CD is so crazy good. If you dont have it you should go out and buy it now. This next week coming up is going to be quite enjoyable since I get to photograph The Weakerthans tomorrow night, and Raine Maida on Monday. Now if you dont know who either of those bands are, then you have been living under a rock for the last 10 years and I just feel terrible for you. The Weakerthans are from Winnipeg Manitoba and they are probably one of the best bands to ever come from that city. Raine Maida was the lead singer of Our Lady Peace and he is now doing a solo thing. I will post more on those shows once I actually take the photos. For now here are the Sick City shots. Sick City Add Comment (1)
